The lesson is about being aware of the consequences. If you cannot see all the outcomes because it may be unclear, then risk management dictates that you avoid the intended action. Risk management further dictates that you follow your considered judgement and not the popular action and thought.

Turn to people that will enhance your life. Academics are important but it will be somewhat of a waste if the right person does not acquire the knowledge and qualifications. Life is about you, the best you can be as a person. It is about understanding the purpose of life.

Living life to the fullest means to use yourself completely in the best way to be of benefit

It is about respectfully, but critically, assessing matters with questions and research, not high level academic necessarily, but at least some through reading. The brain should only switch off at death and should remain integral to your complete being. Do not follow blindly, be informed, be empowered.

Success is something that ought not to create a void but rather it must be fulfilment. Make success a lifelong journey and measure each step so that you strive to be on track. When you are aware, you can rectify shortcomings. Stay informed and keep focus.
The Healthy Decision
The bigger the issue in question, the bigger the decision and the more circumspect with the information at hand. This simply means that you will need to look at the matter from all angles, or put another way, the pros and cons in the matter and decision at stake. There is no easy way out in making decisions. The best way in deciding on anything is to be informed.
