I am listening to the rain fall with a crackling sound on the roof sheeting. Some are oblivious of the rain as their tiled roofs smother the sound of the falling rain. The rain is mostly good as it fills dams and brings life to the dry soil. But rain can take with it some victims for a range of reasons like excess rain falling. Excess rain? Yet, rain is considered beneficial in its overall context.
That is a microcosm of life while we are not all tuned into the realities of life. It is not the noisy rain that tells you the amount of rain that fell, neither does it inform of the benefits or devastation that it brought. You need to be alert and aware to understand what is happening. Rain is by the decree of God. Nevertheless, a flood does not mean there was an excess of rain, but it may be that more rain fell in a shorter span of time than usual, but it does not mean more rain fell than usual. Furthermore, drainage, the lack thereof or the inadequate maintenance thereof may be contributors to flooding. It may also mean that, geographically, the area is prone to floods. In a similar manner you can relate this to yourself, be it mentally, physically, or spiritually. Be informed by thorough analyses and information. Excess of anything is not good for you except truth which is never really in excess. Even in your spiritual life you have to pause to eat, to earn a living and do other necessary human activity. On your physical side, you have to look after your immune system through healthy eating and in the right proportions while also engaging in some physical exercise. The mind needs exercise through doing stimulating activity. Your body is a microcosm of the universe and when you are aware and alert, then you will take utmost care of yourself. But understand, that your awareness is enhanced through healthy natural eating and the right dosage (not undercooked) of spiritual meditation. Through this, you will look at life differently with a greater preparedness, avoiding floods where possible and understanding the possible reasons for the flooding. The official narrative is not necessarily correct.
The sound of rain tells your little. Newspaper reports tell you little. It is you who must evolve into being the microcosm of the universe and not of the desert, being a grain of sand being blown from place to place. Living life to the fullest means to use yourself completely in the best way to be of benefit.
