Striving for perfection is a mammoth but noble task. We know perfection is not for us mere mortals. Of the biggest mistakes we make is not to understand the concept of perfection.
Perfection is being in alignment. When all your ducks are in a row then you are ready for the challenge. Your body needs to be aligned with the spine being the focal point. Your thoughts need to be aligned to know right from wrong, good from bad, better from good, etc.. Your mind and body needs to be aligned for many things like optimal health and the pursuit of your dreams. The perfect relationship has, as the key ingredient, the alignment of two individuals to form a strong bond. Perfect relationships are not the absence of strife but rather making the necessary adjustments so that there will be alignment. There is little doubt that, even in the best relationships, there may be times of misalignment, but commitment to the common purpose and goal will require some minor adjustment. Perfect relationships can become wholly imperfect when matters are left unattended for too long. The mechanisms for perfection is tending to the needs of the relationship. The wants may be luxuries but, accommodating these wants, depends on the strength of the spine of the relationship.
The rigours of modern day life have a big impact on misalignment and the consequent imperfect relationship. As you may tend to your physical health, so too care for your mental health .. so too care for your relationship. Keep your relationship perfect by keeping your alignment intact.
