Make up sure doesn’t do it for you. Do you want to know why? I will tell you, but you must reflect and admit to what is really needed.
Make up, apparently, is the feel-good factor. So, if you wake up without make up, then are you not feeling quite the same? But on the other hand, you say that you must look on the inside of the person to see the real beauty. Please explain this to me if you say that it is not quite a contradiction. Nevertheless, I think there are a few things about yourself that you need to consider and discuss with the appropriate person or forum. If you really want to be the best version of yourself, then you need to consider some basic factors. Of course, there are people way ahead of where you can be, a little bit more extreme but extreme in a good way.
Starting with a list of strengths and weaknesses, jot down as many as you like, but at least five of each. Then consider too your hangups? What about your relationships from parenting, to spousal, to parents, to siblings, to friends, and acquaintances and then strangers? How selfish or charitable, helpful, and obliging are you? How controlling or submissive are you? How self-centred or altruistic, selfless are you? How teachable or obstinate are you? How much do you praise or criticise, put down? Do you have trust issues? The list goes on. There are examples of everything of these in your life. It needs to be assessed and changes to be made if and where necessary. Do you already sense that that feel-good factor is not a bad thing, but you do know there is more to life?
Do you need make up or just a little bit of a make-over or is it the touch up of mind, body and soul? Let’s try it and see yourself glow.
