A swift power-packed punch to the ribs is extremely painful. It may floor you, even momentarily, while recovery may take some time as your nurse the injury which manifests itself as a darkened bruise at the point of impact. Being on the receiving end of one such punch should translate in you being felled only temporarily and then work on your recovery almost immediately. A barrage of savage punches is more torture and the damage from it may have more serious consequences. Sometimes, you treat that one punch as if that was a barrage of punches and, with that, you bring greater harm to yourself.

Panic is a momentary event from which you seek relief immediately. However, when you drag out the panic by opting to remain in this state of victimhood then you bring immense harm to yourself. Being in control of yourself is key because anything short of that will minimise your abilities. Negativity will have a field day as it will have conquered you. Those around you will suffer too, either because you will contribute less (emotionally and intellectually), but it may be that you drag everyone down into the gutter. Panic should be momentary. You must understand this and know the mechanisms to snap out of it. Better still, is being prepared to deal with curveballs being thrown in your direction. While this curve ball may throw you off balance, your awareness and energy will give the appropriate solid response. Back on your feet in a jiffy, you will find the mechanism needed to restore normality, creating a safe space, a level of comfort and a mood of confidence all round. Looking at your current situation and, if that situation seems panicky or negatively out of control, then you must act to reverse this almost instantaneously. Armed with useful information and the means to analyse it and make sense of it all, you have the best chance to overcome difficulty. Your source of information and advice must be real and true. If it contributes to your negativity, then you are on the wrong channel. If there was something in your diet that caused you harm, then the natural thing to do is to reduce the intake of that which is negatively affecting you. Likewise, what you inhale must be healthy. Two senses that may be the difference to harm or benefit are your eyes and ears. You have choices to make. It does come down to whether you are in a good space or not. If you are not in a good space, then you are feeding yourself off negativity. You must take control and not let a panic situation become permanent. It is about you making the change first and foremost. Added to this is always that the truth shall set you free.

Words are easily spoken, but the solution not too difficult. Sometimes you need a helping hand. Reach out and grab the helping hand so that you can be the whole person you ought to be.
