I can see clearly now. I have 2020 vision. Yet the year 2020 was not the year that you expected.  Two key words, among others, emerged to describe this year and these are “troubling” and “indifferent”. While these words themselves have many meanings, the focus can be narrowed down such that you can focus on you in the new year. The current global challenges will carry over into 2021 but you need to be better prepared for the most part.

My task here is to steer you in a way that you can gain strength and, in turn, be the pillar of strength for those around you and in your immediate sphere of influence. It is for this reason that I chose the two words “troubling” and “indifferent”. People who are indifferent, in general, are those who plod along. They are not easily distracted and are single-minded. They would have encountered 2020 as a year where there were changes and merely adapted without much emphasis on the actual happenings. Their emotional state hardly changes even though they may have sighed at a point but it amounted to no more than that. It is like neither fear nor elation overtakes them. You displayed some of these attributes this year. You can actually only display these attributes if it is part of your make-up. This is a quality of many people but if you have a little drive, you want to choose when to be indifferent. If you chose indifference because you are on target for your goal and did not consider 2020 more than speed bump, then it is a understandable. In general, indifference means neither this way, nor that way. In the context of this note, indifference gives hope. Let’s leave “indifference” at this point while you know there is still much room for discussion on it.

“Troubling” is another key word. It too has many meanings in the context but it is appropriate to focus on the one meaning or emotion that it holds. Indifference can be considered the act of refusing to apply the mind. However, what is troubling is “fear”. Fear is the paralysis of the mind.  Some reactions are instinctive like running away from a dog or wild animal. Those are often once-off situations. Fear which brews and continues causes stress. The long term stress is like a dripping (leaking) tap. Over time it erodes the surface beneath it, creating a hole. This is what stress can do to your immune system. What troubled you in 2020 will not in itself disappear except that it will leave an indelible mark on you. Painting over a crack does not remove the crack but merely hides it. This does not solve the problem. The main problem is how you took in information and how you processed it. It is likely that you swallowed it whole and thought it best that your digestive system can deal with it. That is indeed a way of putting stress on the body. Logic and clear thought are what is required. Thus it is a mechanism that does not conflict with normal behaviour. Long periods of stress put an unnecessary strain on the body which will, in all likelihood, lead to sickness and ailments. You should deal with that which troubles you and not merely gloss over. You are on the verge of carrying an enormous amount of baggage over to the new year and there is no indication that 2021 will necessarily be kind to you. You need to be kind to yourself and deal with your troubles. Sharing fear is fear multiplied exponentially. The one person feeds off that negative energy you emit and, in turn, you may too absorb negative energy from another. You will need to start this year remedying that and face 2021 with courage and conviction. The solution is available.

There are effective ways of dealing with this matter. Consider your health and act.
