Life is a series of experiences. Some collect it as if they are merely collecting marbles. Others collect it as works of art to be told as deliciously embellished tales of interest. Others consider experiences an education that nourishes and gives qualifications like no other.

We can learn anything but it is also true that some are more skilled at things naturally while experience have played a role for others. Life is like that. Right know there is an avalanche heading your way. You will say that the avalanche may have missed you since you are alive. The avalanche though is not only physical but is what is staring you in the face right now. The discerning person will see it for what it is and make the right choices. But for the majority, that word, “discern”,  is not in their vocabulary. This bring us back to what do you do with your experiences. The education system does not teach “discernment” as a life skill because then your education will be beyond the school curriculum. It is never too late to learn a new skill. One way of testing this skill being present is how quickly you believe mass media, social media and how quickly you forward messages and posts. To discern is to be wise.

The current world situation is one for which you should have at least prepared. The least preparation is to apply wisdom and not acceptance. Those who want to get onto the ark will hasten to gain this skill. It is better to have this skill than to merely follow. But, if you are to follow, at least have the little bit of skill to know who to follow.

Your life will always be at a crossroads, whether you know it or not. I know the road you should take. Do you?
