The piercing rays of the sun may make you uncomfortable, but its benefits outweigh your short-lived discomfort. The wind may blow you hither and thither, but its role in the ecology cannot be underestimated. The pouring rain may put a damper on your outing or hike, but the necessary rainfall sustains the earth and provides much-needed drinking water. If you are not inspired by a few thought-provoking words, it may be that, in the moment, your mind and heart are not ready for growth just like some seeds have its seasons in which they germinate and grow.
People shy away from such moments, such events, such appointments that provides the platform for growth and development because it makes them uncomfortable. Perhaps a patch is good enough to sustain the full circle of life from parenting, working, running a business, marriage and the necessary spiritual attention that the heart (also the mind, body and soul) needs. The youth need direction more than ever before with career choices and the very many challenges that have exponentially increased over a short period of time. While few, if any, are truly concerned about the current state of affairs, not to mention the future, the result is a state of chaos. How does one navigate in a topsy-turvy world that holds so much promise, yet there are danger and warning signs everywhere. It is foolish to decide on a course of action only when trouble presents itself while, before, you had the opportunity to plan for it. Of course, not every mishap can be planned for, but in having a solid base from which to work, such eventualities may indeed be easier to handle than when caught off guard. A lifetime is long, relatively speaking, but the foundation is important so that your repair work is minimised or negligible. Right now, the focus may be on the youth with important imminent decisions in their lives concerning career choices and job search. Then there is marriage, then the decision to buy or rent a house, and schooling (or is that education) for the next generation. Before getting overwhelmed by it all, take time out now to assess matters, seek help and assistance as needed, and put some workable plan in place. A workable plan is one which can be tweaked as needed and not one that has to be redrafted at the mere thought of a tremor.
If ever there were exciting times, then it is now. It is exciting because you actually need to manage your life like a project and for that you need a plan. Look at all aspects of your life and choose the one that may need immediate attention, possibly one that will be the springboard for other parts of your life.
