Bright lights do not the change the setting of the dark room. The one who is not noticed in the most lit up chamber, will not be missed while darkness pervades.

The lessons of life are in what we see and much of what we see stems from what senses we use to see. The blind person will likely use imagination but what about the person with normal vision. In truth, some people will never be noticed. On the flip side, of people are those who notice some and be oblivious to others. Have you experienced talking to someone or even a group of people, but even at your loudest, you are not heard? Or are you the one not hearing? Are you the one who praises others, those not in your immediate circle, and yet those before you, in your presence, are ignored or their presence and efforts are minimised and trivialised?

Does the room, be it a dark or brightly lit room, change nothing for your acknowledgement of people in your cicle, in your presence, your close ones, perhaps also colleagues and friends? And when you do happen to “bump” into them, is your reaction positive or negative?

There is a better way. For the majority, they will continue on their errant way, ignoring or belittling people. Few are eager to learn and change their ways. It takes one to make a difference. Such is the person to see another person even in a dark room.
