Three key components for any recipe are the ingredients, the tools/implements and the method. But even before that is the intention, the goal. You will look at yourself today and ask the hard questions which must affect the three components to make you complete: the mind, body and soul.
The simple saying is that “what you put in, you get out”. It is time to reflect on this and your objective in life. Will you not ponder on matters rather than be overwhelmed by all things superficial? Were you to take the statement “let’s keep it real” and everything you do is filled with artificial ingredients, then is your “real” synonymous with artificial? If the recipe called for natural ingredients, do you replace it with artificial? If training your memory is essential, do you rather make yourself dependent on technology and artificial intelligence? If fitness and weight control are better achieved through exercise, do you rather indulge in artificial weight loss diets? If personal interaction and hands on parenting is better for your child’s development, do you rather place your child in front of the television, or hand him/her an ipad or tablet? So that you “put in” everything artificial, then what will be the outcome? It is you who must decide. It does start with a change in mindset. In a world where you are overrun with everything seemingly helpful and easier, but has long-term detrimental effects, the subject needs urgent attention. Eat of that which is “pure and natural” is a good starting point to much that you need in your life.
You can decide to live the real good life or carrying on living the artificial good life. If you are serious about your life, your wellbeing and that of your loved ones, you will stop, ponder and firstly do the check up from the neck up.
