The most common asset on this spherical planet called earth, is love. While many have faith, love surpasses faith by a country mile. Yet, this valuable asset is misunderstood because it is housed in a chamber that is easily turned. Love will be tested and that love that has secured itself deep in this heart will not easily be shaken and broken.
The challenges of life, and indeed love, is that you have to run through a field filled with prickly thorns. There are two ways to survive and you have to use both ways. In before times, it was likely a lot easier since the fields were bigger and there was more space. This space is now filled both from a time point of view as well as the physical space. You will imagine that people living away from the majority of civilisation have it much easier. When life is simpler, problems are somewhat less. The more wants there are, the more complicated life becomes. This holds true for love since the heart is now filled with desires for material things. The heart then resembles a room of bouncing balls as each ball represents a desire. The bouncing balls knock into each other, and then true love becomes a casualty, enough to upset the apple cart. Money now becomes a deciding factor in the sustainability of love and, more so, the relationship. Love loves simplicity. With every condition added, love takes a blow. You run through this field of thorns avoiding the thorns and everything is rosy. But roses have thorns. In the first instance you try to avoid the thorns. In reality it is, for the most part, impossible. You have to take the prick and learn from it, heal from it and overcome it. The compassion shown by your spouse is imperative for proper healing. The lack of compassion is a tell-tale sign and will require, at least, patience. However, you must understand that you view of how compassion is shown, is not necessarily the only way – meaning that you must not easily assume there is no compassion.
Minimising the desires for material things builds character. The connection is real when true character is evident and less of the clutter that impacts it. Work harder on the relationship because it is one thing that will surpass just about everything you do in life. The hard work will ease when you and your spouse look at the simpler things in life. This culture will rub off on the family resulting in an amazing loving family. And if you have not found your true love yet, don’t despair for your love will connect with the right person. There is much to learn about bonding in chemistry. When it happens, remember the thorns and avoid those looking to burst your bubble. May your relationship be smooth and not prickly.
